Hawks stay unbeaten on ECC 2A baseball scene

KINSTON -- Reed Parris hurled a complete-game one-hitter as North Lenoir dealt Kinston a 10-0, five-inning loss on the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference scene Friday evening.
Garrett Letchworth emerged as the Hawks' offensive leader with two hits, including a two-run home run, and three RBI. Drew Rogers, Will Braxton, Allen Sutton and Reed Parris each delivered one hit.
North Lenoir (8-6 overall, 4-0 ECC) concludes first-half conference play at home Tuesday against county archrival South Lenoir.
