Free passes aid Chargers against Cougars

LITTLEFIELD -- Ayden-Grifton capitalized on 12 walks and cruised to a 16-3, five-inning triumph over Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference foe Goldsboro on Friday evening.
Eli Curtis paced the Cougars' offense with two hits.
Brody Martin, Jon Stevens, Thomas Vick and Jamal Wilson provided one hit apiece.
Goldsboro is the guest of Greene Central next Tuesday.
