* Boys' tennis: Wayne Country Day d. Rocky Mount Academy -- Charlie Dees, Cam Gerrard, Stanley Zhan and Dylan Brown each emerged victorious singles play for the Chargers. Dees-Gray Langston and Gerrard-Zhan each picked up a doubles point. RMA forfeited at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles. The Chargers (3-2 overall) travel to RMA next Wednesday.
Middle schools
* Girls' soccer: Dillard 1, Spring Creek 0 -- Aaliyah Carroll tallied the lone goal for the Tigers, who improved to 6-3-1 overall this season. Goalkeeper Octavia Barnes earned the shutout. Dillard plays host to Eastern Wayne today.
