ECC 2A SOCCER: Goldsboro shuts out Kinston

KINSTON -- Rylie Hales' free kick in the early stages turned into the game-winning goal in Goldsboro's 3-0 triumph over Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference rival Kinston on Friday evening.
Hannah Williamson and Ivey Wade provided one goal apiece for the Cougars. McKayla Roberts assisted on Wade's goal.
The Cougars (6-2-2 overall, 1-1-0 ECC) entertain South Lenoir on Monday.
