Daughtry, Ricks power Princeton on the road

SALEMBURG -- Matt Daughtry pounded out two hits and drove in three runs during Princeton's 13-3 romp over Carolina 1-A Conference foe Lakewood on Thursday afternoon.
Tyler Ricks contributed three base hits. The Bulldogs had 15 hits overall and benefited from six Lakewood errors.
Matt Boyette and Tanner Flowers combined for a six-hitter on the mound. The duo fanned four Leopards, walked four and surrendered just one unearned run.
Princeton (11-3 overall) entertains Rosewood on Tuesday.
