Rosewood collects Carolina 1A tennis win

Rosewood prevailed in two tie-breaking matches on the singles courts and cruised past Carolina 1-A Conference foe Spring Creek, 9-0, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Eagles' Chase Bartlett turned back the Gators' Milton Bautista 6-0, 7-6 (5) at No. 2 singles. Teammate Jeremy Lintner edged Elias Soto 7-6 (2), 6-0 at the No. 4 slot.
Rosewood also got singles points from top-seeded Jordan Price, Lucas Parrish, Collin Pendegraph and Dalton Ira. Price-Parrish, Bartlett-Pendegraph and Ira-Jacob Smith completed the sweep in doubles.
The Eagles (8-1 overall) entertain Greene Central today.
