Neuse Charter boys defeat Princeton

SMITHFIELD -- Regular-season champion Neuse Charter eliminated Princeton, 68-45, in opening-round play of the Carolina 1-A Conference tournament Tuesday evening.
Demarcus Ellis led a balanced Bulldogs' offense with nine points. Austin Sullivan contributed eight points, followed by Earl Gibson Jr. with five points. Grey McCoy scored four points and Kelvin Woodard added three points.
Princeton concluded the year 1-24 overall.
