Spring Creek girls cruise on the road

CALYPSO -- Playoff-bound Spring Creek exploded for 21 second-quarter points and rolled to a 63-34 triumph over North Duplin on Thursday evening.
It was the Carolina 1-A Conference regular-season finale for both teams.
Tysha Teachey led three Gators in double figures with 17 points. Amber Buchan delivered a 13-point outing, while Ashley Marriner notched nine points.
Rylee Pate had nine points for the Rebels. Teammates Daja Aycock (eight points), Shaily McCarty (four points) and Alyssa Santos (four points) also contributed offensively.
