Goldsboro Heat falls to South Wake

SNOW HILL -- Gavin Portela netted 20 points as Goldsboro Heat ended regular-season play with a 42-37 setback against South Wake.
Portela pulled down eight rebounds, dished out three assists and blocked three shots. Harman Kaler added nine points.
Goldsboro (8-10 overall) enters regional tournament play as the fifth seed and faces New Life Camp in the opening round.
