Rosewood claimed 21 individual victories and swept a tri-meet against Northern Nash (57-21) and Southern Nash (54-21) on Wednesday evening.
Senior Dylan Melgar, a returning state qualifier, inched closer to joining the Eagles' Century Club (100 career wins) with a pair of victories. A 170-pounder, Melgar earned a second-period fall over Northern's Lucas Yezek and scored a 7-4 decision over Southern's Vyshaun Richardson.
Melgar has 92 career wins.
The Eagles (32-6 overall) raced a 39-6 lead against Northern after eight individual bouts had been wrestled. They built a 36-3 advantage through the first seven matches against Southern.
"We had a fantastic team effort tonight against two of our best rivals from Nash County," RHS head coach Bill Edmundson said. "Southern Nash beat us at their Firebird Duals a week ago, we made some adjustments, talked about the importance of not giving up the pin and were able to avenge the loss.
"Our guys wrestled with intensity and purpose tonight."
Chris Hill, Timothy Decatur-Luker, Jordan Todd, Louis Tortual, Jayden Thomas, Joey Behrend, Hunter Weeks and Blake Dean each ended the night 2-0.
Reid Amodeo and Kaleb Taylor each went 1-0.
Rosewood returns to action today for a non-conference tri-meet at Eastern Wayne. North Johnston will also compete.
