White scores 27, Greenfield boys topple Wayne Christian

WILSON -- Former Eastern Wayne middle school standout Coby White sizzled the nets for a team-leading 27 points as perennial powerhouse Greenfield defeated Wayne Christian, 89-67, on Thursday evening.
The Eagles' Darrin Oates led all scorers with 28 points. Ty McClain dropped in 21 points, pulled down five rebounds and dished out three assists.
Wayne Christian (11-10 overall) travel to Cresset Christian next Tuesday.
