CAMP LEJEUNE -- Eastern Wayne collected 21 individual victories and two grapplers compiled 3-0 worksheets during a four-team meet hosted by Lejeune High School.

The Warriors, directed by first-year head coach Aaron Lynch, easily handled short-handed Lejeune 67-12. Lynch's team fell 72-12 to Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe New Bern, and dropped a 42-39 heart-breaker to perennial power Jacksonville White Oak.

Cainen Miller and Johnathan Harris combined to pin three opponents, earn two forfeits and one decision. Mario Harper, Christian Torres, Equan Tune, John Amon and Jordan Wooten each picked up two victories on the night. Amon defeated White Oak's John Jones in sudden victory at 160 pounds.

Heavyweight Chris Howard, Colby Miller, Ian Gutierrez, Dilissus Council and Kris Wells posted one win apiece.

Eastern Wayne (3-6 overall) returns to action Saturday in the 20th USAF-Eagle Invitational at Rosewood. Opening-round matches begin at 9:15 a.m.
