* Boys' basketball: Ayden-Grifton 59, C.B. Aycock 50 -- Marquez Farmer paced the Golden Falcons' offensive attack with 13 points, and Tayquan Hampton added 11 on Wednesday evening. Kamarion Graham chipped in eight, while Jordan Woodard scored seven. C.B. Aycock (3-5 overall) plays host to Rosewood on Friday.
* Boys' basketball: Trinity Christian-Fayetteville 69, Wayne Country Day 27 -- Nick Fletcher emerged as the Chargers' top scorer with 10 points. Marcus Metcalf knocked down eight points. WCDS (6-2 overall) plays host to Crossroads Christian today.
Middle schools
* Boys' basketball: Trinity Christian-Fayetteville d. Wayne Country Day -- Nehemiya Shaw scored two points and Marquise Newell contributed one point in the Chargers' road loss.
