Princeton girls defeat Union

ROSE HILL -- Princeton built an 11-point lead after one quarter and hung on for a 39-31, non-conference win over Union on Monday evening.
Chelsea Hawley and Amber Johnson tallied eight points apiece for the Bulldogs. Hawley also picked the Spartans for six steals.
Emily Ricks, Kortney Edwards and Jaz McCain each scored six points.
Princeton (2-0 overall) visits North Johnston on Friday.
