Waters drops in 31 points, WCDS picks up road win

GREENVILLE -- Wayne Country Day overcame a one-point deficit and cruised past The Oakwood School, 64-51, on Tuesday evening.
DJ Waters sizzled the nets for a season- and game-high 31 points for the Chargers. Waters also logged six assists and six steals. PJ Hill provided eight points and five steals.
"(A) very intense and physical game," second-year WCDS head coach David Flowers said. "(We played a) very good defensive second half and good transition offense."
The Chargers (3-1 overall) play host to Halifax Academy today.
