Sasser knocks down 27 points as Conquerors defeat Trinity

Richard Sasser led three players in double figures with 27 points in Faith Christian's 72-69, nail-biting triumph over N.C. Christian Schools Association 2-A rival Trinity Christian on Tuesday evening.
Sophomore Mills and senior Christian Mills (12 rebounds) provided 18 and 11 points, respectively.
The Conquerors pulled down 45 rebounds in a foul-filled contest. The teams combined for 41 fouls and 51 free-throw attempts. Faith seized a 17-7 advantage on the offensive glass.
Faith Christian plays Thursday against Cramerton Christian during day one of the Southeastern Invitational in Zebulon.
