Lawhon has double-double for Faith Christian's girls

Jordan Lawhon posted a double-double -- 18 points, 10 rebounds -- as Faith Christian Academy upended Trinity Christian, 39-37, on the N.C. Christian Schools Association 2-A scene Tuesday evening.
The Conquerors grabbed 41 team rebounds, including 29 on the defensive glass. They also picked Trinity's pockets for eight steals.
Faith Christian returns to action Thursday against Great Bridge (Va.) Christian in opening-round play of the Southeastern Invitational in Zebulon.
