Tronqull Blue rushed for a career-high 165 yards and three touchdowns during Rosewood's 55-20, homecoming triumph over Spring Creek at Branch Pope Field on Friday evening.
"I'm so happy for our seniors," RHS head coach Robert Britt said. "The whole team was playing for them tonight. Senior night is a special night for every player."
Mike Woodard rushed for 100 yards, while Cameron Helt added 84 yards on 10 carries. Marquail Al-montaser provided 21 yards on the ground. The trio combined for three TDs.
Helt completed four passes for 80 yards, including touchdown strikes to Al-montaser and Dylan Melgar.
"It was a rivalry game. Both teams played hard, both teams played scrappy," SC head coach Aaron Sanders said. "I tell you one thing, those big three (Woodard, Helt, Al-montaser) from Rosewood are special. They can get out and go."
Jessie Casper and Jamaal Davis led the Gators' ground game with 96 and 75 yards, respectively. Each scored a touchdown.
SC used three quarterbacks in the game -- Casper, Landon Smothers and Scott Edmondson. The trio combined to throw for 194 yards. Dominic Morse hauled in two passes for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Spring Creek (2-7 overall, 0-4 CC) returns home next Thursday to face state-ranked and defending Carolina 1-A Conference champion James Kenan. Rosewood (7-3, 4-1) has a bye week and concludes regular-season play Nov. 6 at Princeton.
