Top-seeded Bulldogs skin Wildcats in Carolina 1A volleyball

PRINCETON -- Princeton launched its quest for the Carolina 1-A Conference tournament championship with a 25-9, 25-11, 25-9 triumph over Hobbton on Monday evening.
Taylor Carroll paced the Bulldogs' attack with 11 kills and three service aces. Hailey Wood contributed eight kills and four blocks. Emily Ricks and Daisey Eklund recorded five and 11 kills, respectively.
Beth Braswell dished out 32 assists.
Top-seeded Princeton (20-1 overall) opposes fifth-seeded North Duplin in semifinal-round play today at Lakewood.
