* Volleyball: Rosewood d. Mount Olive 25-12, 25-10 and 16-25, 25-29, 25-15 -- Jennifer Sutton served five aces during the Eagles' doubleheader sweep of the Chargers on Monday afternoon. Rosewood (7-3 overall) plays host to Grantham on Thursday.
* Volleyball: Neuse Charter d. Wayne Christian 25-14, 25-15 -- The Eagles concluded regular-season play 2-10 overall.
* Volleyball: Norwayne d. Wayne School of Engineering 25-10, 25-13, 25-10 -- Norwayne improved to 6-1 overall heading into Wednesday's match at Brogden. WSE fell to 5-3.
* Volleyball: Spring Creek d. Dillard 25-9, 25-19, 25-10 -- Amanda Haggerty, Alissa Price and Emily Dupuy emerged as the Gators' offensive leaders in the three-set sweep. Spring Creek (8-1 overall) is the guest of Brogden on Oct. 12.
