CBA falls to D.H. Conley in ECC 3A/4A volleyball

HOLLYWOOD CROSSROADS -- Arlanda Faulkner and Taylor Daniels combined for nine kills in Charles B. Aycock's 25-10, 25-13, 25-20 loss to perennial Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A power D.H. Conley on Tuesday afternoon.
The Vikings limited the Golden Falcons to 14 kills as a team.
Alexis Bynum posted a team-high five blocks. Senior Sydney Schmeltzer logged 27 of Aycock's 64 team digs. Mookie Powell recorded 11 digs.
Cassandra Lassiter handed out seven assists.
C.B. Aycock (9-7 overall, 3-5 ECC) plays host to South Central on Thursday.
