Carolina 1A volleyball leader Princeton sweeps Neuse Charter

Princeton remained perfect in six Carolina 1-A Conference outings with a 25-11, 25-12, 25-12 conquest of Neuse Charter on Thursday evening.
Daisey Ecklund led a balanced offensive attack with nine kills. Taylor Carroll delivered seven kills, followed by Kortney Edwards (six kills) and Emily Ricks (five kills).
Carroll and Ecklund combined to serve seven aces.
Princeton (11-1 overall, 6-0 CC) concludes first-half play Tuesday at Lakewood. It's a rematch of last year's eastern regional championship won by the Bulldogs in five sets.
