Rebels, defending Carolina 1A tennis champs, topple Spring Creek

MOUNT OLIVE -- Defending Carolina 1-A Conference champion North Duplin handed Spring Creek an 8-1 loss on Tuesday afternoon.
The match was contested at the Walker Tennis Center on the University of Mount Olive campus.
Julissa Quintanilla, Taylor Dilday, Hannah Smith and Casey Whitted each picked up a singles point for the Rebels. Quintanilla-Smith and Dilday-Whitted each prevailed in doubles.
Sophomore Chloe Davis claimed the Gators' lone singles point.
Results were not available for No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
