EW's Agner pulls out tense win

Morgan Agner pulled out a tense super tie-breaker win at No. 4 singles during Eastern Wayne's 9-0 triumph over county and Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference rival Southern Wayne on Thursday afternoon.
Agner defeated the Saints' Maria Akhmadyar 6-4, 1-6, 1-0 (11-9). Teammates Elizabeth Sutton, Brennan Dove, Emily Uzzell, Samantha Roux and Bella Bowen each picked up a straight-set win in singles play.
Sutton-Dove, Agner-Bowen and Roux-Kathryn Harrison completed the sweep in doubles.
Eastern Wayne (3-3 overall, 3-2 ECC) concludes first-half league play at C.B. Aycock on Tuesday.
