Halifax Academy handed Wayne Country Day a 25-13, 25-18, 25-19 non-conference defeat on Wednesday afternoon.
Savannah Strickland had four kills in the Chargers' road loss. Lillian Freeman and Dekiya Thomas served four and three aces, respectively. WCDS tallied nine points with Hannah Neal on serve.
