Golden Falcons defeat Rams in tennis

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock secured the outcome with two doubles points and turned back Greene Central, 6-3, on Wednesday afternoon.
The No. 1 tandem of Kassidy Pitchford-Cassidy Coerver slipped past the Rams' Bryson Radford-Peyton Beaman 9-7. Teammates Casie Belom-Sabrina Johnson cruised to an 8-2 win at the No. 2 spot.
Johnson, who moved to the No. 1 slot in singles, defeated Radford 6-2, 6-2. The Golden Falcons also received singles points from Coerver, Belom and Grayson Lane.
