Midway spoils Gaster's debut as head coach

PRINCETON -- Midway put touchdowns on the board in each of the first three periods and handed Princeton a season-opening, 20-0 defeat at Harvey Brooks Field on Friday evening.
The loss spoiled the debut of new Bulldogs head coach Travis Gaster.
Earl Gibson emerged as Princeton's top rusher with 107 yards on 20 totes. Adrian Whack provided 91 yards on 14 carries. The Raiders limited the Bulldogs to 182 total rushing yards.
Sophomore quarterback Adam Crocker, in his first varsity start, completed four passes for 69 yards. Whack hauled in a 33-yard reception. Jarrett Pearce grabbed two passes for 31 yards and Nick Hare had a five-yard reception.
