Tripple has 11 kills in Rosewood's 3-set win

Tayzlie Tripple pounded out 11 kills as Rosewood swept county rival Goldsboro 25-17, 25-21, 25-15 inside Norvell T. Lee Gymnasium on Thursday evening.
Kaitlyn Kincaid, Kendall Gurley and Ada Rivera combined for 19 assists. Gurley added four aces for the Eagles, who scored eight consecutive points with her on serve in the third set.
Lexi Mercer contributed five kills, four assists, two blocks, two aces and five digs. Hannah Daniels emerged as the defensive leader with seven digs.
Rosewood (2-3 overall) entertains Charles B. Aycock on Monday.
