Pittard's 18-kill effort powers Goldsboro past Hobbton

Goldsboro served a season-high 25 aces and snapped a three-game skid with a 25-18, 25-11, 26-28, 25-21 triumph over Hobbton inside Norvell T. Lee Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
The teams split their regular-season series.
Becka Pittard paced the Cougars with a match-high 18 kills, six service aces and two blocks. Kaylee Lyon provided six kills and five aces. KeKe Dredden logged six aces.
Matti Rose Lyon dished out 23 assists.
Goldsboro (1-3 overall) faces Rosewood today.
