JV football: Warriors' Tyson rambles for 160 yards, 2 TDs

Eastern Wayne 32, North Lenoir 26 -- Eastern Wayne scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime against the Hawks. It was the season-opening contest for both teams. Junious Tyson led EW's ground attack with 160 yards and two touchdowns. Teammates Tyshaun Roberts, Ricky James and Tyler Davis logged one TD apiece. Nick Richards emerged as the defensive leader with 10 tackles. The Warriors (1-0 overall) face county rival Goldsboro next Thursday.
