Barnes notches game-winning goal for Eagles

La GRANGE -- Zack Barnes delivered the game-winning goal in the second half as Rosewood opened its season with a 3-2, non-conference triumph over North Lenoir on Tuesday evening.
Stalen Massengill and Ethan Chapin each scored first-half goals for the Eagles, who led 2-0 at halftime. Barnes provided an assist.
The Hawks tied the game at 2-2 before Barnes struck again on Daniel Aberto's assist.
Rosewood (1-0-0 overall) visits Goldsboro next Monday.
