MOUNT OLIVE -- Jason Morozowski mashed two home runs and finished with three hits during University of Mount Olive's pivotal, 5-0 blanking of Southeast Region foe Francis Marion (S.C.) University on Wednesday afternoon.
The Trojans belted three homers on the day.
Derek Justice turned in an eight-inning, 139-pitch day and emerged as the program's all-time career leader in victories with 25. Current Major League pitcher Carter Capps held the previous mark with 24.
Justice (8-3) held the Patriots to five hits and logged eight strikeouts. Gunnar Kines provided one inning of one-hit relief.
Justin Manning, Brett Lang, Rob Shipman (RBI) and designated hitter Stephen Wallace contributed one hit apiece. Joe Koehler added an RBI.
Mount Olive (37-14 overall) entered the game ranked No. 5 in the final NCAA Division II Southeast Region poll of the season. The Trojans, however, remain on the playoff bubble since Conference Carolinas member North Greenville (S.C.) and South Atlantic champ Wingate have already seized two of the region's three automatic bids.
Catawba is ranked No. 1 in the poll.
The 48-team field will be announced Sunday at 10 p.m. on ncaa.com.
