Bulldogs get unchained in the 6th

PRINCETON -- Princeton erupted for eight sixth-inning runs and knocked North Duplin from the unbeaten ranks, 11-6, in Carolina 1-A Conference play Monday evening.
Tyler Ricks led the Bulldogs with three hits.
Tanner Flowers worked 6 2/3 innings on the mound, and surrendered six runs (five earned) on 11 hits. The right-hander struck out eight North Duplin batters. Mason Rachels tossed one-third inning of no-hit relief.
Copeland Brickhouse, Ced Kornegay, Bryce Best (two RBI), Trey Pate and Boone McNeil (three RBI) each had two hits for the Rebels. Pate endured the mound loss.
