Princeton softball crushes Lakewood

Princeton continued to run roughshod over the Carolina 1-A Conference, dominating Lakewood 17-0 on Wednesday.
Casey Mitchell led a 14-hit attack for the Bulldogs with four hits including two doubles and three RBI. Hailey Wood hit a three-run homer. Beth Braswell added two doubles and three RBI in her three-hit performance as well.
Eight Bulldogs had at least one hit.
Beth Braswell got the win in the circle, striking out five in four innings of work. Mitchell pitched a hitless inning of relief.
Princeton improved to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
