Golden Falcons' Warner sprints to three first-place finishes

Courtney Warner, as usual, continued her dominant outdoor season with three individual first-place finishes in four-team, Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet Thursday afternoon.
The Charles B. Aycock senior won the 100-meter dash (12.00 seconds), 200 dash (26.56) and 400 (1:01.62). She also helped the 1,600 relay claim first in 4:31.97, and was joined by Cyerra Carter, Taylor Daniels and Breanna Outlaw.
Carter won the high jump with a regional-qualifying mark of five feet and placed second in the triple jump (24 feet, 2 inches) behind teammate Abby Shenk (29-7).
Aycock placed second in the 800 relay.
