Angelina Nacca put Goldsboro ahead in the 14th minute, but Eastern Wayne came back with a vengeance and scored seven straight goals in a 7-1 non-conference win Tuesday.
Nacca's goal came on a direct free kick from 20 yards out. It was the Cougars' only shot of the game.
Then Eastern Wayne senior Megan Mozingo scored four of the next five goals -- in the 26th, 31st, 47th and 51st minutes. Claire Molloy tacked on two goals and Yessenia Gutierrez scored one.
Brennan Dove had two assists and Cameron Dove and Madison Tallarida each had one helper.
The Warriors took 31 shots and attempted eight corner kicks.
Eastern Wayne (4-1-0 overall) visits J.H. Rose today.
