* Girls' soccer: Greenwood 5, Grantham 1 -- Alana Kazar provided a hat trick (three goals) for the victorious T-birds. Alliyah Mabry and Taniyah Oates scored one goal apiece. Mabry contributed an assist. Greenwood (4-1-0 overall) faces Spring Creek on Monday.
* Baseball: Norwayne 14, Mount Olive (5 inn.) -- Kaleb Moore swatted a home run in the Cobras' mercy-rule win. Ben Jones collected three hits. Roland Watt, Addison Johnson and Jacob Prebe provided two hits apiece. Jones emerged as the winning pitcher. He sprinkled six hits and retired eight Mount Olive batters on strikeouts. Norwayne (4-0 overall) plays host to Eastern Wayne on Thursday.
* Girls' soccer: Norwayne 9, Mount Olive 0 -- Hannah Spear punched in six goals and dished out two assists as the Cobras remained unbeaten and untied in three outings this season. Lauren Smith, Morgan Casey and Savannah Strickland each had one goal. Smith and Carlena Zacharzuk combined for three assists. Norwayne (3-0-0 overall) visits Eastern Wayne on Thursday.
