Hall, McAlduff lead Goldsboro in ECC 2A golf meet

AYDEN -- Matt Hall carded a 2-over par 74 and Goldsboro claimed first-place honors in an Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference match contested on the Ayden Country Club links Monday afternoon.
Luke McAlduff and Ruben Quiroz each contributed an 80. Ty West and Cameron Anderson also helped the Cougars post a team score of 316 -- their lowest four-player total of the season.
Goldsboro returns to action Thursday in a four-team meet at Lane Tree Golf Club that includes Charles B. Aycock, Eastern Wayne and Spring Creek. Tee time is 2 p.m.
