Kyle Davis threw six innings and gave up an unearned run as C.B. Aycock knocked off Hunt 4-1 on Wednesday.
Davis improved to 2-0 on the year, and Jacob Sanford got his third save of the season for CBA, which is off to a 6-0 start. Davis settled in after giving up the first-inning run.
"Kyle did a great job pounding the strike zone," CBA coach Charles Davis said. "So far all season, that's what we've been preaching to these kids is to throw strikes. That's what he did."
Bryce Anders, Cameron Kornegay and Hank Smitherman all drove in runs for the Golden Falcons. CBA manufactured runs using a sacrifice bunt, two sacrifice flies and an RBI single.
Aycock plays host to J.H. Rose on Monday.
