Miller, Coor, Spurgeon power Spring Creek's attack

Spring Creek starting pitcher Logan Miller collected four hits and scored three runs in the Gators' 16-7 romp over Carolina 1-A opponent Lakewood.
Miller got the win on the hill with 3 2/3 innings and four strikeouts. He allowed four earned runs. Will Rouse came on for 3 1/3 innings of no-hit relief.
Chad Spurgeon added three hits and three RBI for the Gators, including two doubles. Allen Coor homered and knocked in two runs during a two-hit effort. Sawyer Smith had one hit and three RBI.
Matt Dupuy and Josh Lebron each had a hit.
