Warner qualifies for east 3A regional in 100-meter dash

WINTERVILLE -- Three-time state champion Courtney Warner raced to first place finishes in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes during a three-team, Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet contested at South Central.
Warner qualified for the east regional with a time of 11.97 seconds in the 100.
Abby Shenk secured first place in the triple jump and ended up second in the long jump. Cyerra Carter wound up runner-up in the high jump.
Aycock's 3,200-meter relay of Anna Greenwell, Tara Price, Mackenzie Stewart and Taylor Daniels placed second.
