Wayne Christian offense breaks loose in 5th inning

Wayne Christian broke the game open with a four-run outburst in the top of the fifth inning and went on to beat Arendell-Parrott Academy 14-6 in non-league action on Tuesday afternoon.
Hunter Burt led the way with four hits, three RBI and scored two runs. Holden Foster added three hits and an RBI. Austin Howell worked three walks and scored five runs for the Eagles.
The Eagles scratched out 11 hits and worked six walks, but committed five errors.
Parrott Academy had seven hits and four errors.
Foster, Howell and Ted Suggs combined for the win on the mound with each giving up two earned runs apiece.
