Rosewood nets pair of non-league wins

Rosewood won five of six singles matches and rolled over Wayne Christian 7-2 on Tuesday afternoon.
Jordan Price set the tone with a three-set 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 victory over the Eagles' top-seeded Matt Jackson.
Jake Smith and Chase Bartless swept their opponents in the third and fourth match. Jared Bradley and Marc Lewis each won their singles matches after losing just two games each.
The duos of Dalton Ira-Sitahj Robertson and Lewis-Bradley each won on the doubles courts for the Eagles.
Graham Fussell picked up the lone singles win for Wayne Christian. Fussell-Jackson won 6-1, 6-3 on the doubles courts.
Rosewood (2-0 overall) starts conference play Thursday against Princeton.
Rosewood emerged victorious on five singles courts and upended Southern Wayne, 6-3, on Monday afternoon.
Jordan Price, Lucas Parrish, Jake Smith, Chase Bartlett and Jared Bradley each picked up a singles point for the Eagles. Parrish-Bradley claimed the lone doubles points.
The Saints' Bobby Stocks triumphed at No. 1 singles. Stocks-Peterson Michel and David Isley-Logan Robinson won at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles, respectively.
