No. 6-ranked, unbeaten Warriors roll to road win

WINTERVILLE -- Chelsea Wynn flirted with a double-double and unbeaten Eastern Wayne thumped South Central, 52-36, in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference action Friday evening.
Wynn poured in a team-high 18 points, grabbed nine rebounds (including seven on the offensive side) and shot 8 of 9 at the free throw line. She also supplied two of the Warriors' 11 blocked shots.
Senior shooting guard Megan Mozingo notched 15 points, seven steals and three assists. Jasmine Covington contributed 13 points, eight points, three assists and three steals.
Naheria Hamilton swatted six South Central shots.
Ranked No. 6 in the latest NCPreps.com 3-A poll, the Warriors (18-0 overall, 7-0 ECC) entertain New Bern on Tuesday.
