Kornegay's 20-point outing not enough for Rebels

SMITHFIELD -- Ced Kornegay tickled the twine for a team-best 20 points in North Duplin's 75-60 loss against second-year Carolina 1-A Conference member Neuse Charter on Friday evening.
Tyree Payton added 12 points for the Rebels. Teammates Trey Pate and Malik Cobb tallied eight points apiece.
Jimmie Sanders led the Cougars with 21 points.
North Duplin (2-12 overall, 1-7 CC) entertains Lakewood on Tuesday.
