Freedom Christian keeps WCDS winless

Freedom Christian, coached by former WNBA star Tynesha Lewis, used a 20-0 run over a two-quarter stretch to cruise past Wayne Country Day, 60-20, in Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference play Friday evening.
The Pats swept the regular-season series.
TT Ramsey emerged as the Chargers' leading scorer with six points. Lillian Freeman added four points, while Langley Barnes and Rebecca Edmondson each contributed three points.
WCDS converted more free throws (8) than field goals (6).
Madison Pittman led FCA with 13 points.
The Chargers (0-15 overall) play host to CPIC nemesis Greenfield on Tuesday.
