PRINCETON -- Princeton High running back Johnny Frasier has de-committed from Florida State and committed to N.C. State according to a tweet he sent out late Saturday evening. A picture of Frasier holding a Wolfpack helmet and the scoreboard saying "15" in the background accompanied the tweet.
Frasier is the Bulldogs' all-time leading rusher and helped guide the team to a single-season, school-record 12 wins last fall. He is the first Division I recruit in program history since Mike Atkinson signed with Duke more than three decades ago.
PHS head coach Derrick Minor tweeted later that he was proud of Frasier's decision and glad that he chose to play football for the Wolfpack. Frasier is expected to officially sign a national letter-of-intent with N.C. State on Feb. 4.
