McClain scores 57 points in Eagles' road win

SANFORD -- Ty McClain pumped in a game- and team-high 57 points in Wayne Christian's 83-70, non-conference victory over Lee Christian on Thursday evening.
McClain also had 13 rebonuds and four assists. The Goldsboro High transfer has scored 40-plus points in three games this season.
Austin Howell chipped 11 points and grabbed five boards for the Eagles, who improved to 10-5 overall this season.
Wayne Christian travels to Wilson Christian next Monday.
