It was the season opener for both teams.

Mike Mann and Andrew Sydow logged three blocks apiece.
Tyler Yanez dished out 37 assists for the Trojans, who are 0-4 all-time against BSU and 5-33 overall against Division I opposition since the program's inaugural season in 2005.
UMO (0-1 overall) continues a four-game home swing next weekend against Conference Carolinas foes North Greenville and Emmanuel (Ga.). North Greenville is in its first season of competition, while Emmanuel is first-year conference member.
