SMITHFIELD -- Tanner Woodard pumped in a season-high 29 points during Princeton's 51-49 loss to defending Carolina 1-A Conference regular-season champ Neuse Charter on Thursday evening.

Earl Gibson and Mike Wooten scored seven and five points, respectively.

"We're snake-bit right now," PHS head coach Jeff Davis said.

The Bulldogs (1-7 overall, 0-2 CC) return to action Dec. 28 in the South Creek Holiday tournament.
